Practical Information
Church Services:
Divine Liturgy (Holy Mass): every Sunday and Feast day at 10:00 a.m.
The timetable of daily services depends on the season of the year and the liturgical period. All is invited to attend Church services. Only Orthodox Christians may partake of Eucharistic Communion.
We also celebrate on request services of thanksgiving and intercession for the sick, the departed, etc.

Great Feasts:
For fixed feasts (for instance, Christmas), the Monastery utilises the Gregorian calendar (civic and the Church of Rome).
For mobile feasts, such as Pascha, Ascension and Pentecost, the Monastery follows the ancient Julian calendar. These feasts may thus be celebrated at other dates than the civic calendar.

The Monastery's own feasts are:
- Our Lady Source of Life, Saturday after Pascha
- Saint Martin of Tours on November 11.

The Monastery is open for visits every day from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon, and from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., except during Church services.

Staying at the Monastery:
Our monastery includes a limited number of cells (rooms) for pilgrims and people in search of a spiritual retreat, or to get to further their practical knowledge of orthodoxy.

As for their participation to the costs of their stay, guests are invited to discuss the matter with the father hotelier who will, of course, take into account their case by case financial situation.

Those interested in the possibility of a monastical stay leading to clarifying their eventual vocational aspirations may adress the matter directly to the Abbey of the monastery.

If you are coming by train (and are not a hitch-hiker), please be prepared to afford some transportation costs to/from Carcassonne. The nearest station (by train or bus) is that of Verzeilles, towards Limoux.
